DISA Taps HP to Assess DOD Enterprise Network, IT Systems

The Defense Information Systems Agency has selected HP Enterprise Services (NYSE: HPQ) to pilot a program that will test for vulnerabilities in Defense Department enterprise networks and IT systems.

The company will provide project management,  implementation and training services for the assured compliance assessment solution pilot and assess network compliance with department standards.

“DISA needs a cybersecurity solution that will enable the DOD to accurately assess the configuration compliance of all DoD enterprise networks, ” said Betsy Hight, vice president of HP Enterprise Services’ U.S. public sector cybersecurity practice. “HP‘s solution is flexible, scalable, easy to deploy, easy to maintain and delivers the best overall value.”
