Wyle Wins $131M for UAV, Biometrics Research, Crime Lab Development

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Wyle Laboratories three cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity requirements contracts worth approximately $131 million.

  • A $49, 181, 949 contract to provide research and analysis to replace existing handheld biometrics. Wyle will assess the biometric system, enhance technology and architecture and develop prototypes to enable information fusion
  • A $44, 953, 376 contract develop reliable improvement processes and enhance readiness while reducing life-cycle costs for unmanned aerial systems programs

Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., is the contracting activity for each award.
