URS Wins Minimum $45M Contract to Support MRAP Vehicles, Systems; Randy Wotring Comments

URS Corp. has been awarded a one-year contract extension by the U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command with a minimum value of $45 million.

URS will provide program management, logistics, engineering, safety, quality and administrative support.

Work will support mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicle program vehicles and systems in Stafford, Va.

“We are pleased to be continuing our longstanding relationship with the Marine Corps through this important program and to be supporting its efforts to provide fully capable, mine resistant, ambush protected vehicles to U.S. military personnel, ” said Randy Wotring, president of federal services for URS.
