Raytheon to Design Missile Defense Kit for Army

The U.S. Army has awarded Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) a $19, 501, 469 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide the integrated air and missile defense plug and flight A-kit design definition.

Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., with an estimated completion date of Jan. 31, 2012.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.
