Northrop Appoints Douglas Larsen as Government Contracts Assistant General Counsel

Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has appointed Douglas P. Larsen as assistant general counsel for government contracts and government relations, effective Oct. 3.

Larsen will report to Sheila C. Cheston, corporate vice president and general counsel.

Larsen will serve as a partner with company leadership and also provide legal counsel to the employees of Northrop Grumman Political Action Committee.

Larsen most recently served as general counsel for Fluor‘s (NYSE: FLR) government group.

Prior to that, Larsen served in the U.S. government for more than 25 years, most recently as the Defense Department‘s deputy general counsel for acquisition and logistics.

He also served in the Office of the General Counsel of the Navy, and on active duty in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps.

Larsen is a recipient of the Secretary of Defense Medal for Meritorious Civilian Service with Bronze Palm and the Presidential Rank Distinguished Executive Award.
