Lockheed Wins $94M to Manufacture Space-Based Infrared System for Air Force

Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) space systems business has been awarded a $94, 770, 783 U.S. Air Force cost-plus-award-fee contract modification.

The company will provide work on the space-based infrared system high component.

Work will include engineering, manufacturing and development. The award exercises two options for logistics and sustainment support in fiscal 2012.

Work is to be performed in Boulder, Colo.

The space-based infrared systems directorate at Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity.
