Lockheed Aegis Contract Adjusted for Schedule & Scope

The U.S. Missile Defense Agency has awarded Lockheed Martin’s (NYSE: LMT) mission systems and sensors business a $12.6 million contract modification.

The award makes schedule and scope adjustments to the Aegis ballistic missile defense baseline development schedule.

It also accounts for changes to the installation of the computer program aboard an Aegis cruiser.

The performance period is from June 30, 2010 through March 31, 2012, with contract definitization expected to be completed by Nov. 4, 2011.

The MDA, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity.
