L-3 Wins $23M AF Contract for Satellite Comm. Terminals

The U.S. Air Force has awarded L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) a 23, 782, 872 firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable contract for eight fixed installation satellite communications terminals.

The terminals will be installed at Europe relay site 2 in Germany.

Work will be performed at Salt Lake City, Utah, and Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany.

The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
