L-3 Reps to Maintain, Repair Mine Roller Systems in Afghanistan

L-3 Services, Inc. (NYSE: LLL) will provide in-theater subject matter experts and field service representatives to perform maintenance and repair of the U.S. Marine Corps mine roller systems.

The company will provide the work on a $12, 629, 287 contract modification.

Field service representatives will be responsible to ensure operational levels meet in-theater needs.

Work will be performed in Afghanistan and is expected to be completed by December 2012.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Panama City, Fla., is the contracting activity.
