General Dynamics Wins $64.5M to Expand Navy Wideband Capabilities

The U.S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) C4 systems business an estimated $64, 590, 000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.

The company will upgrade and enhance the Navy’s wideband networking waveform software. It will also provide software in-service support to the wideband platform.

Work will be performed in Scottsdale, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by September 2016.

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.
