General Dynamics Wins $38M to Provide Navy IT, Info Management Support

The U.S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) IT business unit a $38, 422, 353 award to exercise a contract option for IT and information management department support.

Services will support the Naval Air Warfare Center’s aircraft division.

The company will provide:

  • Business process improvement relative to automation
  • Analytical and technical support for enterprise resource planning
  • Systems and applications analysis, sustainment and integration
  • Database administration
  • Network, production and firewall support
  • Imaging services

Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed in August 2012.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
