DRS Added to $1B Army Force Protection IDIQ

DRS Technologies‘ C3 and aviation group has been added to the U.S. Army‘s integrated base defense system force protection Omnibus contract.

The multiple-award IDIQ contract has a ceiling of $997 million and awards work for inside-the-wire and outside-the wire force protection and early warning systems.

The company said contract work will provide warfighters with modular systems, equipment and components that can stand alone or be integrated into systems, which protect a range of installations.
