Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) has appointed Mike Lawrie president and CEO, effective no later than March 31, CSC announced Tuesday. Lawrie, currently CEO of UK-based financial services software firm Misys, will also join CSC’s board of directors, effectively immediately. Lawrie will succeed Michael Laphen, who announced his plan to retire from CSC in October.
