CSC Promotes Bill Szymanski to VP in Public Sector Civil Group; Mike Gaffney Comments

Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) has promoted Bill Szymanski to vice president of capture for its North American public sector civil group.

Szymanski will report to group president Mike Gaffney and lead the group’s civil capture organization, which focuses on sustaining high new business and recompete win rates.

Szymanski has served CSC for more than 24 years in various operations, account and capture director roles. He has collaborated with numerous federal agencies, including the Interior and Education departments and the Federal Aviation Administration.

“With decades of knowledge and experience of civil agencies and their needs for technology-enabled business solutions, Bill has proven that he is capable of securing critical business opportunities, ” said Gaffney. “Bill will help strengthen the civil group’s leadership position in delivering mission-critical solutions to the federal government.”
