AMERICAN SYSTEMS JV Awarded GSA Government-Wide Acquisition Contract; Joe Kopfman comments

AMERICAN SYSTEMS‘ joint venture partnership with ALEX-Alternative Experts has been awarded an 8(a) STARS II government-wide acquisition contract.

The U.S. General Services Administration indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is designed to provide cutting-edge IT solutions from small business awardees.

Awardees offer a variety of IT services, including cybersecurity, virtualization, IPV6 and information assurance.

The partnership formed through the U.S. Small Business Administration’s approved mentor-protégé program.

“We are proud to announce this award, which gives us another opportunity to combine our well-seasoned teams of experts to provide innovative IT solutions for the federal government, ” said Joe Kopfman, AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ vice president for contracts and administration and financial officer for the joint venture.
