Raytheon to Provide Japan with Patriot Missile Fuzes

The U.S. Army has contracted Raytheon Co. (NYSE: RTN) to provide Japan with Patriot missile M818E3A fuzes and upgrade current M818E2 fuzes to M818E3A fuze configuration.

The work is on an $8, 390, 376 firm-fixed-price cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for and is estimated to be completed on Jan. 31, 2014.

One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.
