Northrop Wins $55M Navy IDIQ for Airplane Engineering Services and Software Development

The U.S. Navy has awarded Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC),  Bethpage, N.Y., a $54, 849, 283 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support services.

The company will help develop products within the airborne electronic attack integrated product team including EA-6B operational flight software, EA-6B unique planning component and EA-18G operational flight software.

Ninety percent of the work will be performed in Point Mugu, Calif. with the rest in Bethpage, N.Y. Work is expected to be completed by July 2014.

Contract funds in the amount of $200, 000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
