Northrop to Develop Precise Guiding System for Geographically-Separated Aircraft

Northrop Grumman’s (NYSE: NOC) network communications systems business area will develop a deployable instrument landing system on a U.S. Air Force contract.

The system will provide precision guidance to aviation assets in multiple geographically-separated and environmentally-diverse regions.

Northrop won an $8, 800, 000 fixed-price-incentive-firm, firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost reimbursement award for the work.
