Kratos to Support DHS with Infrastructure Security Systems; Goodwin Comments

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (NASDAQ: KTOS) has won a contract to install a surveillance and security system at a high priority infrastructure transportation site in the U.S.

The system design includes solar-powered thermal imaging cameras at various sites throughout the transit network and other infrastructure and includes a wireless IP radio system for integrating communications elements.

“We are extremely pleased to be supporting DHS initiatives to provide security and emergency communications for our country’s critical infrastructure, ” said Ben Goodwin, president of Kratos’ public safety and security division.
