Harris Wins Recompete Contract on $9B Air Force IT IDIQ

Harris Corp. (NYSE: HRS) has won a recompete contract from the U.S. Army under the U.S. Air Force‘s government-wide network-centric solutions contract vehicle.

NETCENTS is worth up to $9 billion over its five-year performance period.

Harris will provide IT services to operate, maintain and sustain Army applications, databases and websites.

These include the U.S. corporate dental application and database, the digital enterprise viewing and acquisition application and database and the U.S. Army dental command web page.

Harris will also help develop enterprise digital dental radiography programs on the one-year $4.3 million contract.

“The award of this recompete demonstrates Harris’ success as an enterprise-wide IT solutions provider for the U.S. Army, ” said John Heller, president of Harris’ IT services.  “Harris will continue to support this global command.”
