General Dynamics Wins $49M Contract to Support Light Armored Vehicles for Canada

The U.S. Army TACOM life cycle management command has awarded a $49.2 million contract to General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) to provide training and field service support for light armored vehicles.

General Dynamics will provide field support teams to conduct operator and maintenance training, technical support and fleet status monitoring.

The vehicles were previously supplied under a Foreign Military Sales contract.

The contract has a five-year performance period and will be completed by July 2016.
