Ex-SRA Intl CEO Stan Sloane Joins Decision Sciences Intl as CEO, Will Move HQ to Virginia

Former SRA International CEO Stan Sloane has been named president and CEO of Decision Sciences International, a private company that produces nuclear detection systems for cargo screening.

Previous Decision head Robert Whalen now runs the firm’s development business unit.

Prior to joining SRA in April 2007, Sloane led Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) $5 billion integrated systems and solutions group.

He previously was president of Lockheed’s management and data systems group.

Sloane has announced he will soon establish corporate headquarters for his new company in N. Va. Its current California office will remain a development laboratory.

Decision will market systems to federal agencies and contractors with an eye on homeland security orders.
