DRS Wins Potential $100M Worldwide Security System IDIQ; Rambler Comments

The SSC Atlantic has awarded DRS Defense Solutions‘ technical services business unit an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract worth up to $100 million through 2016.

DRS will design, install and maintain integrated electronic security systems worldwide, which can be used by a range of federal agencies.

DRS will also support the automation of a number of critical systems, including security systems, surveillance systems, automated fuel systems, SCADA systems and more.

“This award is a vote of confidence from a very important customer, whom we already support through other contracts, affirming our company’s ability to provide high-quality technical services for our nation’s most critical security infrastructure and force protection needs, ” said Dr. Mitch Rambler, president of DRS Technical Services. “We are proud to have the opportunity to provide the best security to our Department of Defense customers domestically and abroad.”
