Day & Zimmerman Wins $200M Army IDIQs for High Explosive Materials

Day & Zimmerman Inc. has won two U.S. Army firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts for high explosive materials worth up to a combined $199, 891, 786.

The company will provide 60mm/81mm high explosive load assemble pack cartridges and 60mm/81mm high explosive full cutaway and complete inert models on each award.

Each award has an estimated completion date of Aug. 31, 2016 and each was solicited through the Internet, with four bids received.

Work on a $108, 721, 038 contract will be performed in Camden, Ark., and work on a $91, 170, 748 firm-fixed-price work will be performed in Parsons, Kan.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.
