CSC Wins $83M to Support Postal Service; Now Operates 9 of 15 Equipment Service Centers

The U.S. Postal Service has awarded Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) two contracts to provide management, operational and logistical support for its mail transport equipment service centers.

The awards each have a three-year base and two two-year options with a combined value of $83 million.

CSC will now operate nine of the 15 MTESCs in the U.S.

CSC will provide program management, information systems support and logistical services.

The company will examine, repair and recycle or dispose of mail transport equipment and work to improve equipment processing, repair and distribution functions.
