Boieng to Support Emerging Navy Aircraft Squadrons

The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) a $9, 340, 141 firm-fixed-price delivery order for organizational level peculiar support equipment.

The company will support emerging F/A-18E/F aircraft squadron stand-ups for VFA-25, VFA-146, VFA-192, and VFA-151.

Contract funds in the amount of $9, 340, 141 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed in July 2013.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.
