Boeing to Provide Engineering Services, Logistics Support to UAE

The U.S. Army has awarded Boeing Co.‘s (NYSE: BA) defense, space and security business a contract to provide engineering services and performance base logistics support for the United Arab Emirates.

The $10, 052, 570 firm-fixed-price award modifies a previously-awarded contract.

Work will be performed in Mesa, Ariz., with an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2013.

One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.
