Autonomic Resources Added to $10B GSA IT IDIQ; Keese Comments

John Keese, Autonomic Resources - ExecutiveMosaicThe U.S. General Services Administration has added cloud and emerging technologies firm Autonomic Resources to its STARS II  multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle.

STARS II has a $10 billion ceiling with a five-year base and one five-year option. Federal civilian agencies and the Defense Department can direct task orders of up to $4 million with the vehicle.

Orders greater than $4 million are open to industry competition.

The contract vehicle promotes contracting small businesses when purchasing IT services and solutions.

“We are truly excited to have a contract vehicle in place that will allow agencies to procure the services we are known for: cloud, open source adoption, security or next generation network solutions, ” said John Keese, president of Autonomic Resources.

“These are unprecedented times for agencies that have less budget to meet mission and suffer from contract protests and blocking efforts in adopting new ways to meet IT directives. STARS II is a big step in resolving these issues and we are proud that the GSA has recognized our capabilities with this award.”
