$497M IDIQ Announced for Navy Medicine R&D; SAIC, GDIT, Booz Allen Win Spots

The U.S. Army has announced a $497 million Omnibus III indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to support U.S. Navy medicine research and development programs.

The following firms were awarded positions on the award:

Contract work will support the Navy’s mission to conduct R&D across its medical enterprise. This includes commands that the Navy reports to or supports, such as OASD-Health Affairs and JTF CapMed.

Awardees will provide personnel, materials, equipment and process infrastructure, which includes vaccine development, clinical trials and application processing.

There were 32 bids solicited, with 32 bids received. Work is expected to be completed Aug. 11, 2016.

The U. S. Army ACC-APG, Natick Contracting Division awarded the IDIQ to support Navy medicine.
