Vangent to Support Applications for Defense Health Services

The Defense Department has awarded Vangent, Inc. a contract with its military health system to provide production application support for the Defense Health Services Systems Program Executive Office.

Under the contract, Vangent will deliver operations, security and maintenance services for the portfolio of DHSS applications.

The contract is worth up to $9 million and  has a five-month base period of performance, two one-year options and a three-month option.

“This new contract expands Vangent’s services across DHSS, ” says Mac Curtis, president and CEO of Vangent. “We look forward to continuing to apply our IT service management framework expertise in helping DHSS develop, deploy and maintain useful and responsive applications to the Armed Services healthcare community.”
