SAIC to Sustain Vehicle, Cargo Inspection Systems in Afghanistan and Iraq

The U.S. Army has awarded Science Application International Corp. (NYSE: SAI), McLean, Va., a $44, 262, 164 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to maintain and sustain nonintrusive vehicle inspection systems and cargo inspection systems.

The award modifies a previously awarded contract. One bid was solicited, with one bid received.

Work will be performed in McLean, Va., San Diego, Calif., Afghanistan and Iraq, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 3, 2012. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.
