The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin Corporation‘s (NYSE: LMT) aeronautical systems of Marietta, Ga., a modification to a firm-fixed-price contract not to exceed $89, 016, 000.
The modification obligates fiscal year 2011 congressionally mandated advance procurement funding for long lead efforts.
Lockheed will provide one U.S. Air Force C-130J -30 aircraft and eight HC/MC aircraft. The modification includes two peculiars for each of the HC/MC aircraft for a total of nine fiscal year 2012 aircraft.
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
