Lockheed Wins $145.5M Army Contract for Missile Launching Assemblies

The U.S. Army has awarded Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (NYSE: LMT), Grand Prairie, Texas, a $145, 467, 956 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award modifies an existing contract.

Lockheed will provide 130 Army tactical missile systems block 1A export version T2K unitary-guided missile launching assemblies.  

The work has an estimated completion date of Oct. 31, 2013.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.
