Lockheed, General Dynamics Added to $135M Army IDIQ

The U.S. Army has added Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) IT unit to a $135 million firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple-award-task-order contract.  

The award will be split between Lockheed, General Dynamics and three other companies. It is a modification of an existing contract to exercise a one-year option.

The bid was solicited through the Internet, with seven bids received.

Work has an estimated completion date of June 28, 2014. The U.S. Army Engineering & Support Center, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity.
