Harris to Support Air Force Air Control Modernization Program

The Navy has awarded Harris Corp. (NYSE: HRS) a $29, 119, 944 firm-fixed-price delivery order to support the Air Force tactical air control party modernization program.

Harris will provide equipment including the AN/PRC-117G man-pack radio and accessories.

Work will be conducted in Rochester, N.Y. and is expected to be complete by Oct. 2011.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division in Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity.
