General Dynamics Wins $37M Army Contract to Provide Afghanistan with Ammunition

The U.S. Army has awarded General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (NYSE: GD), St. Petersburg, Fla., a $36, 763, 128 firm-fixed-price contract.

General Dynamics will provide non-standard ammunition to the government of Afghanistan. Work will be performed in Kabul, Afghanistan, and Kazanlak, Bulgaria, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2012.
