General Dynamics to Provide Army with 1, 000 Motors

The U.S. Army has awarded General Dynamics Land Systems (NYSE: GD), Sterling Heights, Mich., an $8, 907, 389 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide 978 sets of Azimuth brake motors.

One bid was solicited, with one bid received.

Work will be performed in Lima, Ohio, with an estimated completion date of May 31, 2013. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.
