DynCorp Wins $8.5M Navy Contract to Perform Aircraft Maintenance

The U.S. Navy has awarded DynCorp International, Fort Worth, Texas, an $8, 409, 858 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to perform organizational level maintenance on aircraft assigned to the Naval Test Wing Atlantic at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Md.

Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed in July 2011.  Contract funds in the amount of $6, 559, 481 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
