Cubic to Support Pre-Deployment Army Solider Training

The U.S. Army has awarded Cubic Applications Inc. (NYSE: CUB), Lacey, Wash., a $36, 490, 538 cost-plus-award-fee contract.

The company will provide mission support requirements to the U.S. Army Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, La. The center trains soldiers prior to their deployment to a combat zone.

One bid was solicited, with one bid received.

The work has an estimated completion date of June 30, 2012. The U.S. Army Contracting Command’s mission and installation contracting center, Fort Polk, La., is the contracting activity.
