Altegrity, Inc. has named Glenn Pinnel as vice president and chief information officer. Pinnel joined the company in October 2010 as vice president of financial systems.
Pinnel will oversee the company’s IT business units and work to ensure the company’s IT resources align with its business strategy. He will report to Altegrity CFO Jeff Campbell.
Pinnel will supervise corporate-level systems and common elements, such as IT security, ERP systems, IT infrastructure, data center facilities and internal customer support.
Prior to joining Altegrity, Pinnel was a principal at GWP Technology Consulting LLC, where he led an order fulfillment and ERP engagement in Denmark.
He also served as corporate vice president and CIO at global specialty pharmaceutical firm Alpharma Inc.
“Glenn’s leadership capabilities and wealth of IT experience ideally suits him to lead our IT efforts, ” Campbell said. “While serving as the interim CIO since March of this year, he established service-oriented priorities and worked closely with all business IT teams on next generation solutions that advance our business goals and serve our clients well.”
