Air Force Taps Raytheon for 3 Orders in Kyrgyzstan

Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN),  Marlborough, Mass., has won a $21, 070, 808 firm-fixed-price U.S. Air Force contract to provide construction and services inside Kyrgyzstan.

Raytheon will provide:

  • a wide-area multilateration en-route airway surveillance system to support U.S. combatants in Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan
  • an air traffic control tower construction at Manas International Airport
  • the relocation of existing Kyrgyz Aero Navigatzia equipment to the new tower

The contracting activity is ESC/HBAK, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass.
