TASC, Inc. Acquires IT Firm TexelTek, Expands Technology Base

TASC, Inc. has acquired advanced technology firm TexelTek, expanding its cybersecurity and secure cloud-computing capabilities. TexelTek develops highly secure applications that allow defense and intelligence communities to efficiently access, store and manage massive volumes of data.

TASC provides federal systems engineering and integration services. Al Pisani, senior vice president for intelligence operations at TASC, said the two businesses’ complementary personnel and experience will generate growth and improve performance.

“TexelTek brings important customer relationships to TASC, and boasts exceptional leadership and a seasoned, cleared workforce, ” he said. “At the same time, TASC brings to TexelTek a deep commitment to independent research and development and a complete suite of management and technical training that will enrich the TexelTek workforce and promote career growth.
