The U.S. Navy has awarded Navistar Defense, LLC, Warrenville, Ill., a $30, 620, 330 firm-fixed-priced delivery order to provide 228 mechanics and field service representatives, instructors and mechanics to sustain mine-resistant and ambush-protected vehicle operations in Afghanistan.
The order is a contract modification in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Work is expected to be completed by the end of December 2011 and contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
