Lockheed Wins $18M Air Force Modification

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) Space Systems Co., Sunnyvale, Calif., a $17, 735, 991 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to extend the capabilities insertion study in the existing advanced extremely high frequency systems development and demonstration program.

This extension includes support for capability and requirements tradeoffs for systems, technology assessments, development of design alternatives, risk assessments, and cost and schedule analysis for enhancement development and production to be integrated with the current program.  SMC/PKJ, El Segundo, Calif., is the contracting activity
