ITT Corp Wins 2 Army Night Vision Awards for $25M Purse

ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) has won two awards worth a total of $25 million from the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command for AN/AVS-6(V)3 aviator night vision goggles and spare image intensifier tubes.

The night vision system is designed for use by special operations ground systems.

“ITT has increased its production capacity and shortened delivery times for the MX-10160C night vision tube to meet the demand for our men and women in uniform, ” said Bruce A. Wald, vice president and general manager of ITT’s night vision and imaging business area. “Now soldiers, aviators and special forces operators will have timely access to this advanced technology required to operate in the most challenging battlefield environments.”
