EADS Wins $74.5M Army Airborne Communications and Helicopter Contract

The U.S. Army has awarded EADS North American Defense, Arlington, Va., a $74, 390, 932 firm-fixed-price contract for 14 light utility helicopters and 14 airborne radio communication systems.

One bid was solicited with one bid received.

Work will be performed in Columbus, Mo., with an estimated completion date of Aug. 31, 2012.  The U.S. Army Contracting Center, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity
