Boeing Wins $258M Air Force Weapons System Support Contract

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA), Long Beach, Calif., a $258, 335, 789 modification to the fixed-price award fee basic C-17 Globemaster III sustainment partnership contract.

Boeing will exercise the fiscal 2011, fourth quarter, option contract line items.  The company will provide total system support for the C-17 weapon system, which includes:

  • Program, material and equipment management
  • Sustaining logistics and engineering
  • Longterm sustainment planning
  • Depot activation

Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity.
