Boeing Wins $16M Air Force Modification for Sustainment and Space Vehicle Support

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA), Seal Beach, Calif., a $16, 258, 969 cost-plus-award-fee contract modification for four sustainment contract line item numbers to include:

  • Sustainment
  • Contractor software maintenance
  • Sustainment engineering
  • Technical management agency support

The modification also provides funds for two space vehicle contract line item numbers to include launch operations support and on-orbit operations support.

The award modifies the existing Boeing IIF sustainment contract for the global positioning system and also provides funding for continued GPS operational control segment work.

SMC/GPK, El Segundo, Calif., is the contracting activity.

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has won a $1, 781, 413, 723 U.S. Air Force contract modification to provide 10 C-17 aircraft, the Pentagon announced Thursday. The Indian air force will receive the aircraft under a foreign military sales agreement. Work will be performed in Long Beach, Calif. and is expected to be completed by July 28,
