Boeing Awarded $304M From Army Helicopter Contract and Navy Airborne Electrics Modification

The U.S. Army has awarded Boeing Company (NYSE: BA) a $174, 104, 000 firm-fixed-price multiyear contract to produce the fourth year production lot nine option of eight CH-47F new build cargo helicopters.

Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 30, 2013.

The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing a $129, 996, 000 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract to produce 12 EA-18G Lot 35 full rate production airborne electronic attack kits and the associated non-recurring engineering.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
