The U.S. Army has awarded Raytheon Co. (NYSE: RTN), Marlborough, Mass. a $11, 978, 820 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to develop Airport Surveillance Radar and Precision Approach Radar cabinets, including required boards to replace the existing ASR and PAR signal date processor cabinets.
Work will be performed in Marlborough, Mass., and Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2013. One bid was solicited, with one bid received. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.
